The Caltech Division of the Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) invites applications for a postdoctoral fellowship in economic theory, beginning Fall 2021. Caltech's HSS provides an interdisciplinary social science environment, with a focus on a small number of fields, including economic theory, experimental economics, and formal political science. This fellowship will provide an opportunity to become a member of this community and collaborate with Caltech's HSS faculty, as well as researchers from other fields who are exploring connections to game theory, mechanism design, and more.

The fellowship will run for one or two years and will include a teaching load of a two (2) one-term courses for each academic year of the appointment.

Requirements: Position is contingent upon completion of the PhD. A cover letter, CV, research statement, teaching statement, a job market paper, and three reference letters (up to a maximum of five) are required.
