Lead Economist
The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) is seeking a candidate to carry out research and provide high-quality economic analysis that will be used to improve operational capability, policy insights and content production.
The Lead Economist will:
work across a broad range of issues with a view to supporting agenda-setting work across three strategic themes: growing the global economy; enabling cross-border trade; and mainstreaming corporate sustainability.
lead work related to the impact of COVID-19 on small businesses as well as targeted projects on issues such as: access to finance; the value of digital services; and incentives to enable climate action.
analyse official statistics to understand and predict key trends in the global economy from a business perspective, as well as establishing systems/tools to access high-quality data from ICC’s global business network in over 100 countries.
drive long-term analytical/research projects and meeting short-term requests for information. All projects will require close engagement with external stakeholders and colleagues from across the organization, as well as ICC’s network of national committees and chambers.

Location: The position is located in Paris, France.
Compensation: Competitive, contingent on skills and experience.
