FTI Consulting is seeking a Managing Director to join our Center for Healthcare Economics and Policy team in Los Angeles. The position provides an opportunity to work with right-sized teams to provide clients with cutting-edge economics and advanced analytics, contributing to projects that help shape the dynamic healthcare and life sciences sector and in other industries confronting transformative or disruptive change. The position is an integral part of the Center’s leadership team, involved in Center growth and development of core initiatives and client work as well as managing and mentoring junior staff. Qualified candidates must possess a PhD in economics or related field, strong leadership and client service skills and experience; extensive experience in developing and applying diverse analytical methodologies to a wide variety of complex issues. Strong candidates will be forward-thinking and will be comfortable and accountable in leading multiple client engagements simultaneously. Extensive work experience in health economics, consulting, or public health is required.
