The Bishop’s School seeks an engaging, collaborative, dynamic and learner-centered economics teacher beginning August 2021. The individual hired for this position must have a strong background in teaching introductory and advanced-level economics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in calculus and an ability to use calculus methods to reinforce and deepen students’ understanding of both the calculus and the tools of economic analysis.
Desired Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in economics, history or a related field is required; a minimum of three years of teaching experience is expected. Interest in supporting student participation in extracurricular programs, specifically economics competitions, is highly desirable.
