Full Text of JOE Listing:
-Produce high-quality research on various topics related to the financial system, financial institutions, and financial stability for publication in leading academic journals.
-Develop research methods and models in the field of financial economics, financial stability and risks.
-Produce high-quality policy analysis and recommendations for policies to be formulated on the financial system, financial stability, and macroprudential policy areas.
-Produce periodic follow-up reports and policy memos on developments in the abovementioned areas.
-Contribute to the additional tasks of the Research Department.
Threshold conditions
-Graduate studies in Economics, Financial Economics, or Business Administration.
-Analytical abilities in Economics and Finance.
-Work experience in economic research.
-Strong written and oral communication skills in Hebrew and in English.
Job requirements
-Recent PhD graduates or those nearing completion of a PhD in economics or finance—an advantage.
-Excellent interpersonal skills.
-Specialization in finance or banking—an advantage.
-Experience in econometric projects with R, or Python.
-Knowledge of Matlab, Stata, or Eviews—an advantage.
