The Department of Economics at Vanderbilt University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Capital Markets from a Historical Perspective at the Assistant Professor level. Vanderbilt stresses excellence in research and teaching in its doctoral, masters, and undergraduate programs. Preliminary interviews will be conducted via zoom in early January
2022.

Appointment at the Assistant Professor level requires a Ph.D. as of August 16, 2022. Faculty duties include the development of a distinguished and visible program of research, as well as teaching, in macroeconomic and/or financial aspects of economic history.

We will commence reviewing submissions on December 2, 2021, and will schedule interviews in the weeks thereafter.
