The Agricultural and Resource Economics Department is seeking a dedicated educator for a full-time teaching position at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor. This nine-month, non-tenure-track position is a recurring fixed-term position with benefits. The teaching load is three courses each semester in the BA Program in Agricultural Business Management and the Minor Agribusiness Entrepreneurship Program.

The successful candidate will actively engage students in learning, teaching a mix of primarily agribusiness marketing (4P), agribusiness management, agricultural finance, and related topics. The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate student advising, coach student competition teams, and serve as liaison between teams and professional associations.

The position is accorded professional rank with an initial appointment for one year and the opportunity of renewal subject to performance, with additional opportunity for promotion to a higher rank with demonstrated success in teaching, research, and service.

Requires doctor's degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent professional experience.

Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching is imperative, and candidates should address their ability to actively engage students based on pedagogical best-practices.

Previous employment in marketing and management, and familiarity with the agricultural sector is preferred.
