Position Announcement- Assistant Professor
The Questrom School of Business at Boston University invites applications for one tenure track opening at the Assistant Professor level in the Markets, Public Policy and Law Department beginning July 1, 2022, pending Provost budgetary approval. Our search focuses on applied microeconomists working in areas related to business strategy. While we will consider candidates from a wide variety of fields, including but not necessarily limited to industrial economics, innovation economics, labor economics, and organizational economics, the successful candidate’s research and teaching interests must enhance Questrom’s reputation for research on and teaching of business. Candidates should have or expect to complete a Ph.D. by July 1, 2022, and must also have a strong record of teaching and research. Successful candidates will conduct research, teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate level (including applied classes in managerially relevant data analysis and quantitative methods) and perform service. Salary, research support, teaching load and benefits are competitive.
