The Department of Economics at Wake Forest University seeks applications for a non-tenure track Assistant Teaching Professor position. This is a permanent position, with an initial and renewable two-year appointment. The teaching load is three courses each semester. The successful candidate will regularly teach Introduction to Economics and Intermediate Microeconomics and will have the opportunity to teach electives as well. As a collegiate university dedicated to the Teacher-Scholar model, we are looking for candidates committed to the deeply engaged teaching of undergraduate students.

The economics department at Wake Forest is one of the most popular majors in the college and our students are both bright and engaged. Our faculty are committed to strong connections with students both through teaching and research, and we oversee a number of active student clubs such as Women in Economics. Located in Winston-Salem, NC, Wake Forest University is a private, coeducational institution with undergraduate enrollment of 5100.
