RTI International's Center for Health Care Financing and Payment is seeking senior and mid-level researchers with interests in Medicare, Medicaid, health economics, and health care policy and reform. As a Research Economist, you will provide cutting-edge analyses of innovative health policies. Using large healthcare datasets, you will design and evaluate policies related to health care insurance, payment, and delivery models; managed care; health care financing, costs, utilization, and quality; health insurance coverage and access; prescription drugs; and risk and casemix adjustment through statistical policy analysis.

Senior staff will lead projects and contribute to proposals to government agencies and other entities. Mid-level staff will support senior staff and work independently.

Opportunities exist for new and experienced Ph.D.'s and M.A.s, and economists and policy analysts with relevant experience in academia, government, industry, or consulting.
