The School of Business at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ invites applications for a tenure-track position in Economics at the Assistant or Associate Professor level beginning August 2022. The rank of the position will depend upon experience and qualifications.
Preference will be given to candidates in the area of labor economics, with an emphasis on one or more of the following scholarly fields as designated by Journal of Economic Literature (JEL) Classification Codes: J2 – Demand and Supply of Labor; J3 – Wages, Compensation, and Labor Costs; J4 – Particular Labor Markets; and M5 – Personnel Economics.
We will begin to consider applications starting October 29, 2021. To ensure full consideration for the position, applications must be received by then, but the recruiting committee will continue to accept applications until the position is filled.
Qualifications: Candidates must have completed a PhD, or foreign equivalent, in Economics or a closely related field by August 2022. Candidates should possess the ability to teach courses in Economics at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
