Applications are invited for a tenure track assistant professor starting August 2022. A Ph.D. in economics by August 2022 is required for tenure-track appointment. Competence to teach courses in intermediate macroeconomics is central to the position. Course assignments will include Principles of Macroeconomics, Principles of Microeconomics, Intermediate Macroeconomics and some combination of other courses such as: Economics of Investment and Money and Banking. The candidate selected for this position will be expected to teach courses on both the Turlock and Stockton campuses. Preferred qualifications include: evidence of successful teaching at the university level, experience or training with online/hybrid platforms and pedagogies, and knowledge and desire to develop/teach experiential learning courses, for example, the Economics of Investment class manages a scholarship fund.
