The Jackson Institute for Global Affairs is seeking applications for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer position in development economics. The appointment is a three-year term appointment with the possibility of renewal.

The responsibilities of the Lecturer/Senior Lecturer are to teach three courses each academic year and help to coordinate the core economics course of Jackson’s Global Affairs Master in Public Policy program, which is taught in the spring term. The three courses taught will include Approaches to International Development, a core course for undergraduate students in Yale’s Global Affairs major (spring term), a microeconomics course for first year MPP students (fall term), and an elective course for either MPP students or undergraduates in the Global Affairs major (fall term).

This is a full-time position. Scholars will be expected to be in full-time residence at Yale for the duration of their appointment.
