The Department of Health Policy and Management at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health is looking to hire a health economist. The position is open rank on the tenure track.
Qualifications
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in economics, health economics, or a closely related field with research interests in health care policy. Priority areas for the search include, but are not limited to, the organization and delivery of health services from a systems and population perspective; health care financing, insurance, access, and utilization; and the impact of federal, state, and local health policies on health and health care. The ideal candidate will have an established track record of externally-funded research or the strong potential to develop one. A commitment to graduate-level advising, mentoring, and teaching is required. Rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
