The Department of Economics at the University of South Florida invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in public finance or other related field in applied microeconomics. This is a full-time (9 month) position. Salary is negotiable.

Minimum Qualifications:
A PhD in Economics or a related field from an accredited institution or anticipated completion by August 2022. Candidates must demonstrate the capacity for high-quality research, excellent teaching credentials, and the ability and desire to play a role in our PhD program.

Preferred Qualifications:
While not a requirement, preference will be given to applicants who have publications or R&R's in the Public Finance field.

The department will follow AEA guidelines and begin screening applications on December 2nd and hold remote interviews in early January. Applications received by December 15, 2021 will receive full consideration.
