This position serves as the Director of Labor Market Information in Columbia. Incumbent is responsible for setting the strategic direction for the Labor Market Information (LMI) Department, representing, and promoting LMI innovation capabilities and insightful leadership on a national scale, and overseeing the overall organization and performance of programs and services. Provides oversight and management of South Carolina’s LMI programs by producing and providing LMI data, information and delivery systems for public access and state and national policy decision making; directs the department units which administer the programs required by state authority; develops and oversees the implementation of state and federal policies, procedures, priorities, budgets and other resources for LMI. Serves as the primary technical resource to support the architecture, design and implementation of BI/DW solutions, with complete and accurate information information/ data delivery using maintainable, systematic, and automated procedures.
