Applications are invited to apply for one non-tenure-track position in Economics at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor. The position is a full-time three-year contract with possibility for renewal. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Economics or a closely related field by the beginning of Fall 2022. We seek dedicated and excellent teachers intent on improving student success, preparing exceptional professionals in Economics, as well as continuing the tradition of promoting the social mobility of our students. Experience of teaching Economics in higher education in a culturally diverse setting is strongly preferred. We are a Hispanic-serving institution located in South Texas near the US-Mexico border. The Robert C. Vackar College of Business and Entrepreneurship is AACSB-accredited at the graduate and undergraduate levels and offers a Ph.D. in Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Management, and Marketing.UTRGV is an Affirmative Action /Equal Opportunity employer.
