The Tobin Center for Economic Policy at Yale University is offering a Post-doctoral Fellowship designed for recent graduates of Ph.D. programs in economics or related fields interested in competition policy for the digital economy. We specifically encourage applicants interested in regulation of digital platforms, and those working on projects related to competition and regulation of operating systems and online platforms for communication, e-commerce, and app distribution. Fellowships provide an opportunity for new PhD’s to focus on developing a strong research program in a stimulating collegial environment alongside the faculty of the Tobin Center and the Department of Economics at Yale University. Successful candidates will also have the opportunity to work closely with Yale faculty and students not only in the Economics Department, but also at the Law School and at the School of Management who are focused on the topics mentioned above.
The Resident Fellowship will start in the Fall of 2022 and last for one year; fellows in residence may apply for a second year of support. Fellows receive a salary of USD 70,000 per year plus Yale benefits, a travel/research stipend, and office space.
