J. Robert Beyster Fellowship, Louis O. Kelso Fellowship & Other Fellowships
The Institute invites applications from Ph.D. students, and junior & senior scholars for the 2022–2023 research fellowship competition. The fields are business, economics, finance, and public policy. All areas of economics and finance are welcome, especially, behavioral finance, the Chinese economy, corporate finance, economics of gender and race, economics of wealth and inequality, household finance, labor studies, law and finance, organizational economics, personnel economics, political economy, and productivity/entrepreneurship/innovation with particular interest in the role of equity and profit shares in public policy and addressing wealth inequality. Several $25,000 fellowships will be available for scholars from the United States, Canada, and internationally. Other smaller fellowships may also be available. Stipends can be used for research, travel, or other expenses and are awarded for residence at the scholar’s home university. The analysis of all forms of broad-based employee share ownership, equity compensation, employee ownership trusts (EOTs), worker cooperatives, profit sharing, and gain sharing are welcome, with emphasis on the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) for the Kelso Employee Ownership Foundation Fellowships. Scholars may inquire about available datasets. Scholars will be in residence at their own Universities.
