Job Summary
The School of Kinesiology at the University of Michigan is pleased to announce searches for eight new tenure-track faculty members as part of a strategic hiring initiative targeting several emerging and multidisciplinary themes. As part of one of the highest ranked public universities in the nation and one of the world’s preeminent research institutions, we invite applications and nominations for a faculty position at the level of Associate Professor or Assistant Professor. Our Marketing and Data Analytics focused position seeks individuals with an interest in marketing and/or the impacts of legalized gaming or esports on sport and society, and who are committed to demonstrating their intellectual leadership driving their published research in the broad area of marketing analytics, including emerging areas of legalized gaming and esports.
The successful candidate will have opportunities to join with colleagues in the Sport Management program and across campus advancing research that emphasizes the application of data analytics to the marketing of sport in the future, or complement and expand the activities of an established cluster of faculty working on topics related to large-scale sports venues and major sporting events.
