The School of Management at Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) invites applications for tenure-track or tenured faculty appointments at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank. Applicants should have strong research and teaching interests in the fields of microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, financial economics, finance or other closely related fields.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree (in a relevant discipline) from a recognized university. Senior candidates should have an outstanding research record of top-tier journal publications, and junior candidates should demonstrate the capacity for exceptional research achievement with work-in-progress papers. In addition, applicants should show evidence of teaching excellence at undergraduate, MBA, and/or PhD programs.
The School:
Successful candidates will join faculty in the Department of Finance or Department of Economics. Founded in 1984, The School of Management at HIT is one of the first management schools approved by Ministry of Education in mainland China. It has been accredited by AMBA and AACSB. As one of the top (C9) universities in China, HIT is well known for its strong science and engineering programs (ranked #6 as the best engineering schools in US News in 2018).
