The Department of Finance and Economics in the McCoy College of Business at Texas State University invites applications for the position of Department Chair. The department houses faculty in the disciplines of finance, economics, and business law. Reporting to the Dean, the chair is responsible for the implementation of university, college, and department policies and the development, coordination, and administration of all academic programs and activities within the department. The Chair, as a representative of the department, is expected to articulate program aspirations, directions, standards, and points of view to other groups inside and outside the university community.
