We are looking to hire two outstanding early-career economists to support research on prosecution led by Amanda Agan (Rutgers University), Jennifer Doleac (Texas A&M University), and Anna Harvey (New York University and SSRC).
The position will require cleaning and organizing data from seven prosecutors' offices, communicating with/travel to offices (COVID safety permitting), statistical analyses, and writing. It is expected that fellows will be co-authors on one or more projects stemming from the work. There will also be opportunities for fellows to develop their own projects using the rich data being collected for the project.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the latest applied microeconometric techniques, be a proficient programmer (preferably Stata), and hold a PhD in economics or adjacent field by summer 2022.
This is a full-time, 12-month position. The fellowship is for two years and offers an annual stipend of $120,000. Location is flexible.
