The Joseph J. Zilber School of Public Health is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor for our Public Health Policy and Administration (PHPA) program. This position is a 100% hard-funded tenured 9-month academic year appointment with a competitive salary, attractive benefits, and start-up package, and the possibility to generate summer salary.

We encourage applications from diverse subspecialties; priority will be given to candidates with previous academic positions especially in programs or schools of public health. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the delivery of the PHPA program and policy-relevant classes at the undergraduate level; teach and mentor culturally- and socially-diverse students; advance their own externally-funded research program, and collaborate across disciplines with academic colleagues.

Required Qualifications: Doctoral degree or equivalent in Public Health Policy or related disciplines, by August 20, 2022.
Preferred Qualifications: 1) On-going research in public health policy, with population health and/or health equity perspective. 2) Proven ability/strong potential to teach public health policy courses and mentor graduate students. 3) Teaching interests related to undergraduate and graduate courses in public health policy, introductory quantitative policy research methods, health care systems from a population health perspective, and/or public health administration.
