The University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy & Practice (SP2) invites applications for a Research Assistant Professor position that will begin in July 2022, although appointment at all ranks will be considered.
Candidates with interests in the social welfare policy impacts of climate change and natural disasters are encouraged to apply. Applicants must have a PhD, strong methodological skills, and a promising trajectory for a program of externally funded research.
Research/scholarship responsibilities must include developing a funded independent research agenda and collaborating with faculty and students with similar research interests.
Many opportunities for collaboration exist within the Penn academic community and with health, educational, social service, nonprofit, and government organizations regionally, nationally, and globally.
Research Faculty appointments are contingent upon external grant funding.
