The Department of Economics in the College of Liberal Arts invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position to begin fall semester 2022 (08/29/2022). Areas of specialization are open. We are committed to attracting candidates from historically underrepresented groups.

Qualifications

A Ph.D. or foreign equivalent in Economics or a related field is required. Advanced ABDs may be considered for appointment at the rank of tenure-track instructor with the stipulation that the PhD is conferred in the first year of the appointment.

About the Job

The appointment will be 100% time over the nine-month academic year (late-August to late-May). Appointment will be at the level of tenure-track assistant professor depending on qualifications and experience, consistent with collegiate and University policy. Salary is competitive.
