The Economics Department, Schmidthorst College of Business, BGSU is seeking applicants for an assistant teaching professor (full time, non-tenure track, one-year appointment, renewable subject to budget and satisfactory annual evaluations) in the field of Macroeconomics and Time Series Econometrics beginning August 2022. Responsibilities include teaching four sections of Economics per semester. The four sections will likely include one graduate-level macroeconomics and/or time series econometrics, with the remaining three sections being principles-level. Minimum Requirements: Ph.D. in Economics (ABD accepted) or Master’s Degree in Economics with the equivalent of at least 1 year of professional (non-academic) experience. Also required, documented record of effective teaching at the university level as evidenced through a statement of teaching philosophy and teaching evaluations. Preference will be given to candidates with multiple years of teaching experience, and course and research experience related to macroeconomics and time series econometrics.
