Elmhurst University invites applications for a lecturer position in the Department of Business and Economics in the area of Economics. The Lecturer position is a non-tenure position, renewable annually with no limit on successive appointments. The main responsibilities are teaching introductory courses, such as principles of micro and macroeconomics as well as upper-level economic electives. The Lecturer is also expected to participate in departmental service. The teaching load is 8 courses per year. Candidates should have a commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment for a diverse student body. A Master’s degree in economics is required; PhD in economics is preferred.
