The Growth Lab is an academic research program that consists of a dynamic, cross-disciplinary group of researchers working to understand wide variety of topics related to human prosperity such as structural transformation, economic growth, knowledge diffusion, technology, productivity, the workings of urban economies, the role of human capital and know-how in development, the role of FDI and migration in the diffusion of know-how, inclusive growth, and green technologies as an opportunity for growth. Often the understanding gained from the research agenda are applied to the real-world engagements undertaken by the Lab. The fellow is expected to conduct independent research, engage with other researchers and visitors, attend / help organize seminars and collaborate with applied policy projects. The position is a one-year assignment (with a possibility of extension). The fellow will be supervised by Professor Ricardo Hausmann.
