The Department of Economics at North Carolina A&T State University seeks applications for a non-tenure track, full-time, one-year Teaching Assistant Professor position focused on high-quality, engaged online teaching at the undergraduate and MBA levels. The successful candidate should be familiar with and implement evidence-based practices in the design and teaching of online courses. We are looking for a dedicated instructor to teach online courses (only) in introductory micro- and macroeconomics, along with business statistics and health economics (preferably). We are seeking to fill this position immediately; position start date is August 12.

The position requires an earned Master’s or Doctorate (preferred) in Economics by the date of appointment, along with relevant online teaching experience. North Carolina A&T State University is a constituent member of the UNC System and the economics department is located in the AACSB-accredited Willie A. Deese College of Business and Economics. We offer both online and on-campus economics degree programs; with online courses available to students in both programs. This is an online-teaching-only position; it does not require relocation.
