The School of Finance consists of the Department of Finance, Department of Insurance and Actuarial Science, Department of Securities and Futures and Department of Financial Engineering and FinTech. The Institute of Chinese Financial Studies consists of the Research Center for Financial Theory Innovation with Chinese Characteristics, the Research Center for Financial Security and Development, the Research Center for China Insurance Development and the Research Center for Capital Market. There are more than 200 full-time teachers and 6,000 students in the School and the Institute.

SWUFE enjoys high prestige and wide influence in China's financial industry and financial educational circle with obvious advantages in financial disciplines. Now, SWUFE has the “National Key Discipline” of Finance, one key institute of Humanities and Social Science of the Ministry of Education (formerly Institute of Chinese Studies), one laboratory of Philosophy and Social Science of the Ministry of Education, two higher school subject innovation engineering bases (Financial Security and Development Innovation Engineering Base), one province-minister collaborative innovation center (Financial Security Collaborative Innovation Center) and is known as "China's financial talent pool". SWUFE ranked A tier in the fourth round of discipline evaluation by the Ministry of Education, ranked top 1% of the world in economics and business in the 2020 ESI global ranking, and ranked 8th in mainland China in economics and business by US News in 2021.

Qualities:
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in hand or firmly expected by July 2023 in finance (including insurance) or economics, with potential for excellent teaching and Preferable research areas include: macro finance (including central banking and monetary policy, financial regulation), digital economy and financial (insurance) technology, financial engineering, actuarial, insurance, commercial banking, machine learning, big data analysis, international finance (including cross-border finance), Wealth Management, Financial Risk Management, Credit Management, Financial Security, Securities market and Investment, etc.

Treatment:
