The Department of Economics at William & Mary, a public university, invites applications for a non-tenure track Lecturer of Economics position that will begin August 10, 2023. The initial appointment will be issued for a two-year period, with subsequent renewal contingent on a successful performance review, department/program needs, and availability of funds. The successful applicant will be expected to be an effective instructor with a 3-3 teaching load. A Masters degree in Economics or a related field is required. A Ph.D. by the time the appointment begins is preferred.

The Department of Economics values demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching in a highly selective liberal arts environment. We seek an individual who is prepared to teach rigorous courses—primarily principles of economics, microeconomic and/or macroeconomic theory, statistics and/or econometrics, and classes in fields of their specialization. We particularly value candidates with experience teaching a wide range of different courses.
