New Mexico Tech (NMT) invites applications for a postdoctoral research associate position in the broad area of environmental and resource economics. While we will consider anyone with strong quantitative skills, candidates with experience in computational methods (CGE, agent-based modeling, integrated ecological-economic modeling, etc.) are particularly welcome to apply. The initial appointment will be for two years, associated with a USDA/NIFA-funded project focusing on agricultural drought, water, and climate in the southern High Plains. Third-year funding is possible through other funding sources. The project presents an excellent research development opportunity with an interdisciplinary team of economists and hydrologists.
