The Economics Department at Whitman College is seeking candidates for a one-year position in Microeconomics at the rank of visiting assistant professor beginning August 2023. A Ph.D. is required upon starting the position. The successful candidate will offer courses in Principles of Microeconomics, and Applied Microeconomics in areas of the candidate’s specialty. There is a strong possibility of contract renewal beyond the initial year (depending on sabbatical replacement schedules), especially for a candidate with expertise in teaching statistics.

Salary Range: $64,000-$67,000
