Job Description
OSB Savings Bank located in Seoul South Korea is hiring data scientists. This position entails developing predictive models, profitability frameworks, analysis, and reporting for multiple lending products.

Key Responsibilities
- Development & validation of predictive models for consumer unsecured loans, small business mortgages and commercial real estate secured loans.
- Data extraction & analysis using programing language (SAS, SQL, R, etc.) and excel.
- Develop insight & strategies based on statistical & data analysis to optimize lending decisions.
- Profitability analysis for loan products, delinquency rate analysis, upgrading & managing loan underwriting.
- Establish regular internal/external reports.

Qualifications
- Advanced or better Korean language skills.
- Masters or Ph.D. in Economics or Finance.
- Understanding of mathematical statistics, estimation of binary dependent variables, microeconomic theory, game theory, financial analysis, and optimization techniques.
- Experience with SAS, SQL , R, Excel etc.
- Quick to learn and adapt to new environments/ work.
