The W. A. Franke College of Business (FCB) at Northern Arizona University (NAU) in Flagstaff, Arizona invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track position as Lecturer in Economics to begin August 2023.

Position description: Teach 12 credit hours (4 classes) of economics courses in the fall &spring semesters. Provide career advisement to students. Participate in the economics related service activities. Engage in a program of intellectual activities or professional qualification requirements in accordance with FCB & AACSB guidelines. Support the draft mission of the newly formed Department of Economics, Finance and Accounting, which is to facilitate student development of the skills, ethical awareness, and global implications necessary for successful careers in economics, finance, and accounting, and to support faculty in impactful scholarly work.

Minimum Qualifications: Graduate degree (MBA, Master’s Degree) with a concentration in economics or related field. One year teaching experience in economics (statistics) at a professional level. Ability to meet AACSB academic or professional qualification requirements.

Preferred Qualifications: Five+ years of teaching experience. Salary: Commensurate with experience and academic qualifications.
