The Economics Department at Rhodes College invites applications for a one-year, non-tenure track, full-time Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics to begin Fall 2023. Rhodes College believes that diversity and inclusion are critical to our success as an institution, and we seek to recruit, develop, and retain the most talented people from a diverse candidate pool. Furthermore, Rhodes College is committed to supporting the work-life alignment of its faculty. Candidates must have a PhD in Economics or be ABD. The teaching load is 3-3; most courses will be Principles of Economics, with the opportunity to teach an elective in the spring semester. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to teaching in an undergraduate liberal arts environment. Teaching experience is required.
