The Department of Economics at St. Olaf College invites applications for a full-time, one-year position at the Visiting Instructor or Assistant Professor level to begin August 2023.

We seek candidates with the experience and interest in teaching introductory economics. This successful applicant would also teach an intermediate-level course related to their field(s), which would be negotiated on hire. We are most interested in applicants with fields in one or more of the following: economics of race and gender, urban economics, crime economics, labor economics, and public economics.

A Ph.D. in economics is preferred, though ABD in economics with undergraduate teaching experience will receive full consideration.
