The School of Economics is now seeking exceptional scholars to join us as Assistant Professors/Associate Professors/Full Professors in the field of Economics.

About the School/Department

The School of Economics at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China has entered a period of growth in terms of research activities and students’ numbers. We are looking for talented scholars to join us. We are interested in hearing from candidates who can grow with the school and have a flair for research and teaching. Applications are open for all levels with research focusing on health economics, labour economics, behavioural economics, macroeconomics, microeconomics, industrial organization, or econometrics.

About You

It is expected that the successful candidate will maintain high standards of teaching, and contribute generally to the development of teaching, teaching methods and assessment in the school. They are expected to convene modules of their area of expertise and lecture in any of the core areas of economics (i.e. Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and Econometrics). The candidate is also expected to supervise dissertations at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Candidates for associate professor and above are expected to take a leading role in PhD supervision and university administration.
