Research Assistant Professor

The Department is looking for a Research Assistant Professor who specializes in Applied Microeconomics and Industrial Organization. Applicants with experience in big data and digital economy are preferred.
Applicants should have a relevant PhD degree (by the time of reporting for duty). The appointee will be expected to (a) participate in independent and joint research programmes; (b) apply for external research grants; (c) teach courses at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels; and (d) provide service at departmental, faculty and/or university levels.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to three years initially commencing August 2023, renewable subject to performance and mutual agreement.
