The Department of Economics in the Dodge Family College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Oklahoma invites applications for a lecturer (teaching) position. A successful candidate must be a strong teacher and researcher. The teaching load is 4/4. Contributions to graduate and undergraduate programs are envisioned. Teaching capabilities include Econometrics in the Doctoral program. While the position is for 1 year, the College recently approved an on-line MA program in Econometrics. This program needs a lead advisor/coordinator moving forward. Thus, interest in staying beyond one year, and playing a coordinating role in the on-line MA program, is favorable.
