The Department of Economics at William & Mary, a public university of the Commonwealth of Virginia, invites applications for a one-year, non-tenure track Visiting Instructor or Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics instructional position that will begin August 10, 2023. The successful applicant will be expected to be an effective instructor with a 3-3 teaching load.

The Department of Economics values demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching in a highly selective liberal arts environment. We seek an individual who is prepared to teach rigorous courses—primarily principles of economics, microeconomic and/or macroeconomic theory, and classes in fields of their specialization.

Required Qualification: A Master’s degree in Economics or a related field.
Preferred Qualification: A Ph.D. by the time the appointment begins.
