The Department of Economics at St. Olaf College invites applications for a full-time, one-year position at the Visiting Instructor or Assistant Professor level to begin August 2023.
We seek candidates with the experience and interest in teaching introductory economics. This successful applicant would also teach an intermediate-level course related to their field(s), which would be negotiated on hire. We are interested in faculty who can teach elective courses that we do not already offer based on their own fields and expertise.
A Ph.D. in economics is preferred, though ABD in economics with undergraduate teaching experience will receive full consideration.
