Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Department of Economics is seeking to fill two positions at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor in the field of economics. This full-time, non-tenure accruing position is a 9-month academic appointment with an anticipated start date of August 16, 2023. Preference will be given to candidates with experience serving as primary instructor for undergraduate courses, particularly in fields of labor, energy, environmental, or sports economics; microeconomic theory; data science; financial econometrics; or any combination thereof.

This position is required to conduct instruction face-to-face with a standard 3-3 teaching load in addition to service expectations to enhance the teaching mission of the Department. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to student outreach and mentorship.

This information requires a PhD in economics or related field. All appointees are expected to be committed to teaching of the highest quality.
