The College of Management of Technology (CDM) at EPFL invites applications for a faculty position in the area of Strategy and Technology Management. The appointment will be at the Tenure Track level (in exceptional cases, appointments at other ranks might be considered), with an expected start date of summer 2024 (or mutually agreed upon).

We are searching for applicants who are committed to excellence in research. Successful candidates will have a clear research focus on strategy and technology management, and ideally address topics linked to new technology and innovation. Scholars with quantitative or qualitative research backgrounds are equally encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will be expected to develop an independent and competitive research program in a multidisciplinary environment. He/she will supervise their own PhD students and engage with researchers in related fields across the EPFL campus, particularly within CDM, and from neighboring Leman area institutes via the E4S initiative. He/she must have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and contribute to CDM’s new education programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

CDM is embedded into an academic cluster of management research, with close proximity to HEC Lausanne and IMD as part of the E4S initiative. It has a strong track record in research and currently serves as the home to the editorship of the Academy of Management Journal.
