Who We Are:
CyberAgent is a leading Japanese company experiencing rapid growth in the internet industry. Within the CyberAgent Group, the AI Tech Studio division focuses on developing cutting-edge services in the digital marketing domain and houses a research and development organization called "AILab." Not only does AILab aim to solve business challenges, but it also strives to contribute to academia through the use of advanced AI research technologies and proactive collaboration with universities and academic institutions. It is a rare research organization in Japan that has a dedicated economics research team.

Regarding the recruitment positions:
In the AILab Economics Team, we are looking for researchers who focus on cutting-edge theoretical and applied research in economics combined with machine learning. In this position, our goal is to submit research results to top international journals such as Econometrica, and top conferences such as AAAI, ICML, KDD, Recsys, and NeurIPS. Please note that this position is permanent.
We also have Data Scientist and Research Engineer positions available for those who are interested in the practical application of economics. Please let us know your preferences during the interview.

Required Qualifications:
- Fluent in Japanese, with native or business-level proficiency
- A Ph.D. in Economics, Business, or a closely related field
- Candidates with a Ph.D. in Computer Science and an interest in economics are also welcome
- Demonstrated ability to write and publish research papers as the lead author in peer-reviewed conferences and journals
- Capability to reproduce research results and conduct further studies based on existing papers
- Proficiency in R and/or Python, as well as other statistical analysis tools
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work with team members from diverse backgrounds, such as researchers from different disciplines, data scientists, and engineers
