The Department of Economics at DePaul University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor in the field of Empirical Industrial Organization. We are particularly interested in candidates who employ cutting-edge empirical techniques to analyze issues related to competition, market structure, firm behavior, and policy in various industries.

Responsibilities:

- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Industrial Organization, Econometrics, and related fields.

- Produce high-quality original research in empirical industrial organization.

- Collaborate with colleagues and actively contribute to the intellectual life of the department.

- Participate in departmental and university service activities.

DePaul University is the largest Catholic university in the nation. The Economics Department offers undergraduate degrees in the College of Liberal Arts as well as the Driehaus School of Business. The department’s graduate programs include a quantitative Master of Science in Economics, and MBA concentrations in Business Strategy and Decision-Making, Healthcare Markets and Analytics, and Applied Economics.

Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Economics or closely related field by the start date.

- Demonstrated potential for producing significant contributions to the field of empirical industrial organization.

- Strong teaching skills and a commitment to excellence in undergraduate and graduate education.

- Proficiency with modern econometric tools and data analysis techniques.

- Experience with large datasets and expertise in utilizing computational tools related to empirical industrial organization research.
