The Department of Economics at the University of Florida invites applications for a full-time, nine-month, renewable Lecturer position, beginning August 16, 2024. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Economics by the date of hire. The salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, and the compensation includes a full benefits package.
The successful candidate will contribute to the Department of Economics’ vibrant undergraduate and graduate programs. The Department currently offers an undergraduate major, undergraduate minor, 4+1 BA/MA program, and Ph.D. program. The Department’s curricular offerings have shifted toward placing a stronger emphasis on econometric methods and data analysis in recent years. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and masters courses in managerial economics and econometrics. They would also provide informal advising to undergraduate and masters students and contribute service to the Department, College, and University.
