Bucknell University’s Department of Economics invites interested candidates at the Assistant Professor level to apply for a tenure-track position beginning in the fall semester of 2024. The successful candidate will have the ability to pursue a high-quality research program in at least one of the following areas: public economics, urban or regional economics, poverty, antitrust, and the economics of education. The successful candidate will also have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching of economic principles and electives in their area of interest.

Candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. in Economics, although candidates nearing completion of their doctoral work will be considered.
