The Research Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta is seeking to hire one research economist who is eager to contribute to the research environment and monetary policy advising at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. The successful candidate will have an established research agenda and a demonstrated ability to translate research into policy advice. The successful candidate will interact with senior policymakers at the bank on topics related to monetary policy and will have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
We are seeking candidates with a PhD and at least 5 years of post-PhD experience at an academic or policy institution and a strong publication record.
The Department maintains an excellent research environment and provides substantial support for research and travel. The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta is the site of the Atlanta Federal Statistical Research Data Center, which provides restricted access to non-publicly available Census data.
